Composite
Drawings
…are done only in conjunction with witness interviews.
If travel is involved,
expenses incurred would be in addition to the forensic art fee.
Child
Age Progressions
…are done only on active criminal investigations. Karen does not do them
for other purposes such as personal projections or deceased child appearance
predictions. To provide a price estimate, Karen must first review available photographs
of the subject to be aged. Additional photos of the child’s family members
may also be required.
Adult Age Progressions
…may be done in fugitive or missing person cases. To provide a price estimate,
Karen must first review available photographs of the subject to be aged.
Demonstrative Evidence
…or trial displays are done on a limited basis. The nature of the displays
needed must be discussed with Karen in order to receive a price estimate.
Postmortem Drawings
…may be done in unidentified deceased cases. To provide a price estimate,
Karen must first review available photographs of the subject from the morgue
or crime scene.
2-D or 3-D Facial Reconstruction from the Skull
…may be done in unidentified deceased forensic cases or for cases of historical
interest. Karen does both 2-D and 3-D methods. To provide a price estimate, Karen
must first review images of the skull to determine the condition and suitability
for the techniques.
