In this workshop, students
apply the methodology learned in the basic workshop to a specific
individual skull. Students must be able to work independently
to interpret soft tissue data with a minimum of individual help.
Each student will learn neck anatomy and be expected to construct
the armature for the neck and shoulders and to sculpt features using
data provided. Unique plaster skull casts will be supplied
for class-room use only. |

When reconstruction is completed,
a photograph of the individual in life will be shown. In
the last exercise, participants will advance the age of their individual
sculpture after learning aging techniques. Knowledge of facial aging
has many applications and three-dimensional age progression has been
used in cases of long-term missing persons and fugitives. |
